Once upon a time, there lived three friends namely ducks, chickens and sparrows. They live in the middle of a dense forest. They live side by side and are very harmonious. Every day, they look for food together around the forest. If, among them do not find food they share with each other. Except the Chicken who often cheats. Until one day when the ride home Sparrow brought news to The Duck and The Chicken. From a distance he shouted and saw the whereabouts of his best friend.

"Chicken, Duck, I have the latest forest news from the King of the Forest." Sparrow said.

"What the news." Chicken answered.

"The day after tomorrow there will be a beauty contest on the edge of the forest, the King of the Forest is holding. The King of the Forest wants to find Putri Rimba who will help her take care of the forest." Sparrow said.

"Wahhh, we have to take part in the contest, who knows that some of us will be chosen." The duck answered

"That's right, I will definitely win, I have beautiful feathers and combs." Chicken said bragging.

Duck and Sparrow just smiled, without saying a word.

 Until the next day, The Chicken came to Duck's house while screaming.

"Duck, duck. Come on, let's get ready for the beauty contest tomorrow. I want it tomorrow, I look beautiful." Chicken Said

"Chicken, it's still very early. Do not wait during the day," replied the duck

"It's okay, we need to prepare it carefully." The word is ambitious chicken

"Alright, let's take the sparrows too !! Answer the duck

"Good." Answer Chicken

 On the way, Chicken worried he would lose to The Duck. He felt that duck feathers were very beautiful and clean. Until an evil idea appears in the chicken brain. That he wants to harm the duck.

"How do I hurt you duck?" Asked Chicken in the heart.

"What, Chicken. What are you saying?" Duck asked

"No. The duck is fine." Answer Chicken was surprised

Not long after, when he arrived at the house of the Sparrow. Sparrows are painting.

 "Wow, your painting is beutiful,  Sparrow." Praise the Duck

"Thank you, duck, I painted it using paint that is hard to lose if we give this oil. So, the results will be good and long lasting," Sparrow answered.

The chicken laughed happily, "Wow, I have an idea."

"Yes Chicken" Asked the Ducks and Sparrows together.

"Ehh eh ... it's fine, it's ok can I borrow your paint and oil, Sparrow." Chicken Said

"Yes, may this." Sparrow answered.

"Thank you Sparrow, I'm going home first." Said Chicken and immediately left the two friends

Duck was confused, then he also came home and said goodbye to the Sparrow.

 After that the next day, it's time for a beauty contest. Come various types of animals there. And three friends have arrived earlier. And they praise each other. Except for the Chicken who is busy with herself apart from her two good friends

"Wow, Duck you are very beautiful, white and clean. Moreover, you wear a beautiful crown." Praise the sparrow

"Thank you Sparrow, you are also shiny brown." Duck said

The chicken who heard it was annoyed. And leave the Ducks and Sparrow of the church. And He began to prepare for his crime.

"Feel you duck, goodbye your, beautiful white fur and clean." Chicken Said.

 Shortly thereafter, a beauty contes began. Chickens begin to carry out their plans. However, luck does not side with Chicken. He slipped, dye and oil fell all over his body. And his entire body turned black. He is angry and berate Duck.

"You damn duck" with an annoyed face.

"What's wrong Chicken. Why are you angry?" Duck said

"This is all because of you, I have been exposed to this paint. Hu Hu Hu." Answer The chicken is sad.

"Ohhh, so you want to hurt the Duck huh. So that's the reason you asked for my paint yesterday. Give it back !!" Angry Sparrow answered

"Noooooo, I ..." The chicken did not continue. He immediately left the forest crying and crowing along the road.

 Since then, Duck and Sparrow have never seen a chicken. They only hear the crowing of chickens at various times throughout the day. But they feel sorry for the Chicken, even so their friend's chicken, but how else, the Chicken did not want to come back again because of shame. And since then the chicken feather cannot return to its original state and he was called a “Black Feathered Chicken”.
